CHOIRS & ENSEMBLES
Our choirs and ensembles are vital to the musical life of the parish. They foster spiritual formation through music, build community among parishioners, and enhance the beauty of the liturgy. Each ensemble offers unique opportunities for singers of all ages and skill levels to participate in sacred music while developing their musical and liturgical knowledge.
St. Andrew Choir
The St. Andrew Choir is a mixed-voice ensemble open to adults and high school students. This choir helps members grow musically and spiritually, offering the chance to actively participate in parish worship through song. Singing primarily at the 9:30 AM Sunday Mass, the choir enriches the assembly’s prayer and draws the community into a deeper liturgical experience.
Repertoire includes traditional hymnody, polyphonic sacred music, and seasonal liturgical pieces. Rehearsals are held on Sundays, 8:30–9:20 AM, at St. Andrew Church, Verona.
St. Maria Goretti Choir
The St. Maria Goretti Choir is a mixed-voice ensemble (male & female) that sings weekly at the 10:30 AM Mass and other liturgical celebrations. Repertoire includes Hymnody, Gregorian chant, and polyphonic sacred music. Rehearsals take place on Wednesdays, 7:00–8:30 PM, at St. Maria Goretti Elementary School Music Room.
The Parish Choir unites singers from St. Andrew and St. Maria Goretti for the most significant liturgical celebrations and feast days. It highlights the diversity of voices in the parish and fosters a shared sense of community.
