Our choirs and ensembles are vital to the musical life of the parish. They foster spiritual formation through music, build community among parishioners, and enhance the beauty of the liturgy. Each ensemble offers unique opportunities for singers of all ages and skill levels to participate in sacred music while developing their musical and liturgical knowledge.

Our repertoire includes Gregorian chant, hymnody, and polyphony. We aim to select a varied and high-quality repertoire that spans a wide range of composers—from the most celebrated works of the Roman and English choral traditions to lesser-known gems of contemporary sacred music.

Divine Mercy Community Choir

Originally founded as a family choir, the Divine Mercy Community Choir is open to anyone wishing to actively participate in the liturgy through song—no auditions or prior experience required. The choir primarily serves at the 8:30 AM Sunday Mass at St. Maria Goretti Church. There are no regular weekly rehearsals; members are simply asked to meet in the Conference Room near the church entrance at least 30 minutes before Mass for a brief warm-up and review.

St. Andrew Choir

The St. Andrew Choir is a mixed-voice ensemble (open to adults and high school students) serving the 9:30 AM Sunday Mass at St. Andrew Church in Verona. The choir offers an engaging, solid choral experience featuring traditional hymnody, sacred polyphony, and seasonal liturgical music. Rehearsals are held on a biweekly basis.

St. Maria Goretti Choir

The St. Maria Goretti Choir is a professional and semi-professional mixed-voice ensemble designed for singers with strong musicianship or extensive choral experience. Singing weekly at the 10:30 AM Sunday Mass and for major parish solemnities, the choir performs a distinguished and challenging repertoire ranging from Gregorian chant to sacred polyphony and hymnody. This ensemble also serves as the primary assignment for the parish’s Staff Singers and Intern Singers. Membership requires a formal audition coordinated by the Sacred Music Office, and singers commit to weekly rehearsals.
